Acne Relief Through Diet

First thing to remember: the best way to treat acne is to rid your diet of excess junk food, fatty and sugary foods. Foods that are high in trans-fat and sugars lead to breakouts and acnes. Fatty acids which have the ability to neutralize toxins in the polluted environment, as well as to prevent ultraviolet may also found in black sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds.
Supplement essential vitamins. It’s difficult to treat acne without vitamin A, vitamin E and vitamin B5. They have been proven to bring excellent results in the acne treatment.
Fish liver oils, animal liver, apricots, asparagus, beet greens, carrots, pumpkins, watermelon, cantaloupe, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, spinach, broccoli, mangoes, and green leafy vegetables supply plenty amount of vitamin A.
Grains, tubers (such as peanuts, beans), avocados… contain vitamin E needed for the recovery of the tissue under the skin. Vitamin E in cucumber can promote the separation of cells, thus slow down the aging process of skin.
Cabbage contains antioxidants and iron helps nourish your skin. Also, cabbage also rich in Vitamin A and E help prevent the occurrence of acne. Tomatoes, carrots are rich in Vitamin A, E, help balance, heal the skin cells from the inside, smooth your skin, and prevent freckles.
Vitamin B5 helps you be able to break down and metabolize more and more oil until there isn’t enough to clog pores and cause acne. Eggs, yeast, whole-wheat products, broccoli and red meat are all good examples of food containing much Vitamin B5.
Add zinc. Eggs, lettuces, artichokes, cereals or crab are abundant sources of zinc which helps enhance the body’s resistance, regulates the production of sebum in the oil glands, and helps the immune system to fight acne naturally effectively. Zinc also helps the skin by ridding it of damaging free radicals and helping it to heal from wounds and scarring. Additionally, anti-inflammatory effect of sulfur is found in egg yolk.
Increase fiber-rich foods: Eat plenty of whole grains, root vegetables, lentils and beans. These foods help the body remove toxins that may lead to acne and skin damage.
