Depression, inadequate sleep, fatigue, prolonged stress or prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause the blood vessels around eyes shrink, bring up the dark eye circles. Dark circles under eyes can even age us more than wrinkle or grey hair. Try out the following methods to get rid of it:
Cucumber: Use cucumber sliced place over your eyes, extending on darkened area in half an hour. This is considered the most effective method to eliminate dark circles. Do this daily for the best result.
Tomato, lemon juice and turmeric powder: Mix tomato and lemon juice with a little turmeric powder, apply to the skin under the eyes. After 15 minutes, rinse with cold water. Make sure that you are not allergic to turmeric.
Rose water: Boil the rose water then apply to the skin covering the eye by absorbent cotton.
Apple: Use a few pieces of sliced apples covered up the eye area.
Potato: Apply mashed potatoes wrapped in cloth to the black area under eyes for 15-20 minutes. You can also use thin sliced potatoes to cover the dark circles as using cucumber.
Tea bag: Freeze an used tea bag in the refrigerator and then covering on the eyes for about 15 minutes. The tannin in tea bags reduces swelling and discoloration. You can also use ice cube wrapped in cloth to apply on dark area instead of tea bag.
Freeze spoon: Refrigerate a spoon for 10-15 minutes, then take it out and cover the circles with it. Hold it there until the spoon is warm again.
In addition to natural materials, you can apply lotion made specifically for the eye area. However, you should remember: the skin around the eye is the most sensitive area, so be careful when choosing mask for your eyes, inappropriate materials can lead to inflammation.
Massage help relieve fatigue: Close your eyes, relax, warm up your hands and apply to the eyes lightly, repeat about 10 times will help relieve the fatigue of the eyes.
Massage at night: Before going to bed, take a small amount of eye cream apply to the eye area, massage to improve blood circulation to eyes and for the cream to be absorbed thoroughly. You can use the middle 3 fingers to dap around the eyes like playing piano around your eyes.

Eat, sleep, rest reasonably
Besides the above treatments, a proper diet and healthy life style are definitely important.
Sleep at least 7 hours each night
When working with computers, blink your eyes more than usual and take a short break after an hour.
Drink 8 to 10 glasses of water per day.
Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables.
Limit / avoid tobacco and alcohol.
Wear sunglasses when going out.
Don’t use cosmetic contains bleaching factors around the eye area.
Limit sweets and chocolate.
Try to relax after work, postpone any annoying problem which can make you feel depressed, and enjoy your life.
